🧐 Who are we looking for?
As General Bicycle Workshop Manager you will play a key role in Free Motion. You will be responsible for the maintenance of more than 1500 rental bikes and coordinate several teams of mechanics with one overall target: To ensure all customers receive their bikes in perfect mechanical condition, well set up and on schedule.
🔜🤟 You will rock at this role if you:
Are experienced as a bicycle mechanic or are up to date with the latest bike technology
Have worked in a similar role before and have experience in managing a department
Have good people management skills and managed a team of 10 or more in one of your previous roles
Are a passionate and experienced road cyclist or mountain biker
Are fluent in English and have good verbal and written communication skills
Speak intermediate level Spanish to communicate with local employees and suppliers
Like to take and share responsibilities
🛠️Some of your tasks will be:
Managing a workshop team of up to 30 mechanics
Setting productivity targets for the different workshop teams
Hiring new staff in accordance with the HR department
Liaise with the rental manager and shop manager
Improve workshop related procedures
