We are currently looking for a General Ledger to join us at our facility in Asturias.
Key responsibilities :
- Production of financial statements entries (incl. accruals & TAX entries).
- GL account reconciliations : accruals, rebates, prepaid, etc...
- To provide guidance and functional expertise to ensure quality and accuracy of all accounting / financial processes within the functional area of responsibility.
- Month end closing activities. Reconciliation of different financial statement for US GAAP.
- Monthly and quarterly fluctuation analysis.
- To interact with Business, Legal Entities and Corporate Finance.
- To participate on internal & external financial audits.
- To participate in Regional / Global networks as needed.
- To provide functional expertise on cross-functional initiatives and issue resolutions.
- To proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Key requirements :
- University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
- Fluency in English. Any other European languages are considered a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in accounting, minimum 2 years prior experience in various transactional accounting areas.
- Experience in Finance systems and / or General Ledger desired.
