Global Direct Sales Manager

Client: important textile company, with presence in international markets, specialised in recycled fibres, needs to incorporate.

Position: Global Director Sales Manager

Location: Europe / Hibrid

Responsabilities:

  • Responsible for the sales account strategy and management of the Direct Sales team to achieve and exceed, set Monthly and Annual profitable sales and gross margin targets in revenue, volume and product mix. Plus, the individual ownership and Direct Sales for the EMEA Sales Region.
  • Active involvement in the preparation of the annual Commercial budget process.
  • Preparation and execution of long-term Customer contracts and agreements to establish the company as supplier to the brands and retailers Spinner networks.
  • Application of strong Commercial Excellence principles such as Customer Relationship Management, customer strategic account plans, customer segmentation strategy, effective pricing strategy and negotiation and customer reporting.
  • Regular on-site visits to EMEA spinners and prepare for each major Spinner, a clear Strategic Account Plan detailing, context, long-term vision and strategy, customer wiring, with clear targets and goals.
  • Support the Demand Planning department by providing accurate customer annual and monthly forecasting from the team, and individually for the EMEA region.
  • Preparation of a concise weekly update report for the whole Direct Sales Team.
  • Liase with Technical and R&D, Customer Product Development, Operations, Sustainability and Marketing.
  • Identify competitors strategies, help to identify industry trends through working with colleagues as one Commercial team.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any comercial discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a front facing role working with the EMEA Spinning Industry.
  • An understanding of basic project management experience and skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish. Written and Spoken.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Availability to travel worldwide with no restrictions.
