We are looking for someone to work in a global scope to implement indirect Procurement plans and processes related to goods and services commonly bought for consumption by internal stakeholders.
The success of this position is to achieve a Corporate Travel Program, according with the policies and compliance topics.
Key Responsibilities
I. Design and Management of Corporate Travel Program
Travel Policy Development and Compliance :
Develop, review, and update corporate travel policies.
Ensure alignment with the company's objectives and industry best practices.
Ensure employee awareness and adherence to travel policies.
Reporting and Analytics :
Develop KPI to measure travel program performance.
Generate and analyze travel-related data and reports.
Provide regular reports to management on travel expenses and compliance.
Budget Management :
Develop and manage the travel budget.
Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Implement cost-control measures while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Travel Booking and Coordination :
Oversee, manage & optimize the booking process for flights, hotels, transportation, and other services.
Ensure timely and cost-effective travel arrangements for employees.
Risk Management :
Develop and implement risk management strategies, including insurance and safety protocols.
Stay informed about travel advisories and potential risks to employee safety.
Technology Integration :
Implement and manage travel management systems to streamline processes.
Stay updated on travel technology trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
Employee Support, Training and Communication :
Provide support for travel-related queries, issues, and emergencies.
Communicate travel policies and updates to employees, ensuring clarity and compliance.
Conduct training sessions for employees on travel policies, booking procedures, and best practices.
Keep employees informed about any changes to travel policies or procedures.
Continuous Improvement :
Regularly review and assess the efficiency of the travel program.
Seek feedback from employees to enhance the overall travel experience.
Environmental Sustainability :
Implement and promote sustainable travel practices, considering the environmental impact.
Explore eco-friendly options.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as Corporate Travel Manager / Travel Operations Manager / Procurement Travel Category Manager.
Travel industry experience is highly desired.
Working knowledge of OBTs (Concur / CTM / GDS).
Understand of travel metrics, KPIs, trends, regulations.
Global mindset with experience in managing travel activities across multiple regions.
Analytical skills to process complex data.
Life Science industry expertise and experience with compliance requirements in the field is a plus.
