About our company
Innovamat is an EdTech company that aims to promote a competency-based, personalized and practical way of learning mathematics.
It is aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 16, and it prioritizes the understanding of content and the development of mathematical skills linked to problem-solving.
Innovamat encourages learning through experimentation, conversation and individualized practice. In this sense, Innovamat offers sequenced learning trajectories, resources, training and contact with the educational community;
experts in mathematics education and the science behind mathematical learning.
Innovamat was founded in 2017 in Barcelona (Spain) and currency has 350 passionate professionals that work with 18,000 teachers from more than 2,100 schools in Spain, Italy, Mexico, United States, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Brazil and Peru who teach competency-based and meaningful mathematics to more than 430,000 students.
Your mission
As the Head of IT at Innovamat, your mission is to lead and oversee all aspects of our IT Operations, focused on three big areas : cybersecurity , infrastructure (systems and hardware) and software .
You will ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our growing technology environment while aligning IT strategies with the organization's goals and objectives.
Your day to day at Innovamat
Develop and execute IT strategies and initiatives to support organizational objectives.
Lead a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
Oversee the implementation, maintenance and cost-control of software applications.
Uphold data and system security through rigorous security protocols and measures.
Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and opportunities, focused on process automation.
Manage IT projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timelines.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on Innovamat's operations and offerings.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards (ISO and ENS).
Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services and products.
What are we looking for?
Proven experience in an IT leadership role, preferably in the technology sector or fast-growing companies.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and security best practices.
Experience with the rollout of a cybersecurity roadmap.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, focused on automation and process design.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, as well as a service mindset.
Fluency in Spanish and English.
It will be great if
Experience with the implementation and / or compliance with ISO 27001 and ENS.
Familiarity with Google Workspace and Atlassian environments.
