The Head of Marketing and Communication is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
They oversee key aspects of the marketing function, including:
- Market research and analysis related to Data-driven marketing activities.
- Marketing strategy development and execution.
- Brand management.
- Digital marketing.
- Partnerships.
- Media requests.
- Events.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to generate data-driven content to be shared with clients, partners and prospects.
- Handle media and partner requests.
- Develop partnerships.
- Develop and manage brand positioning and messaging.
- Oversee the development and execution of Marketing campaigns.
- Manage the marketing budget and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
Personal skills and experience
- Data-minded approach.
- Master’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Full working proficiency in English and Spanish.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies.
- 5+ years of experience in the travel sector.
- Strong understanding of Marketing principles, best practices, and emerging trends.
- Proven proficiency in leading and inspiring teams.
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems.
Additional Requirements:
- Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content marketing.
- Experience with analytics tools.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
