The Department of Homologation of Passenger cars, Light Commercial Vehicles & Components is looking for an Homologation Engineer to join the team at Idiada's Headquarters.
He / she will be specifically dedicated to the testing and certification of passenger cars vehicles according to regulations applicable for Passive Safety.
He / she will be responsible for the following tasks :
- To deal with the clients in order to understand their needs and to manage the certification projects.
- To perform and witness tests according to the specific regulations applicable for Passive Safety.
- To analyze the technical documentation and prepare the related test reports
Qualifications
Profile
- Knowledge in automotive technology is a must.
- Knowledge in Passive Safety is highly valued.
- Knowledge in automotive regulations / standards would be an asset.
Academic training
Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive industry, or similar.
Languages
- High level of English and Spanish
- Knowledge in other languages would be an asset.
