DirecciónWe are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for our Group Legal team to provide legal support across all departments.
This is the ultimate generalist role, providing substantial access to various facets of the business and key matters within the company.
Responsibilities
- Contract Review and Drafting : Reviewing and drafting employment contracts, service agreements, and other relevant legal documents
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensuring the company complies with applicable labor laws and regulations
- Legal Advisory : Providing legal advice to internal departments on legal issues related to personnel and business operations
- Legal Risk Management : Identifying and managing legal risks associated with staffing company activities
- Dispute Resolution : Participating in the resolution of labor and legal disputes, including representing the company in legal proceedings if necessary
- Policies and Procedures : Developing and maintaining internal policies and procedures that comply with labor laws and protect the company's interests
- Internal Training : Providing internal training on legal issues relevant to staff and management
- Legal Audits : Conducting periodic legal audits to assess regulatory compliance and mitigate legal risks
- Internal Investigations : Conducting internal investigations in cases of policy violations or legal disputes
- Collaboration with Other Departments : Working closely with other departments, such as Human Resources and Finance, to ensure comprehensive management of legal matters
You have
- A Bachelor's Degree in Law
- 5+ years of private practice experience with a top-tier law firm or in-house experience in tech
- A good understanding of privacy law & M&A
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves to dive into a diverse range of tasks and bring them to a successful conclusion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively conveying legal advice and collaborating with internal teams
- Strong attention to detail is crucial for reviewing contracts and ensuring legal accuracy
- Adherence to high ethical standards and professional conduct
- Fluent in English and Spanish
