Position Overview

The HR Business Partner Iberia is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to the business across all areas of Human Resources.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Advise and assist the managers to identify with them the solutions for their organization to implement and develop and improve locally the company strategy.
  • In collaboration with Talent Management, Development Management and Compensation team you put in place training plans, Performance evaluation, succession plan, merit process, talent development processes and any other group process
  • Be part of the Country Management Team and participate in the decision taking of important aspects of the business
  • Responsible for payroll and the payroll system and Benefit administration
  • Ensure accuracy of the time management system
  • Make sure local Labor and statutory requirement are in place
  • Guide Managers when there is legal issue link to Human Resources
  • Represent the company in front of the Works Council
  • Support the General Manager in any legal decision link labor laws
  • Drive project on improving the processes to increase the efficiency of the HR work in Spain and Portugal
  • Collaborate closely with HR South Europe Team to create synergies

Experience Required

  • Master´s Degree in Human Resources
  • 15+ years in HR related positions
  • Experience in Global company with unions and Work Council
  • Knowledge of the local legislation and have knowledge on compensation and benefit in Spain ( and ideally in Portugal)
  • Autonomous and able to take decision with impact on a local scale but in line with group policy
  • Able to interface at various level of management with ease and can show assertiveness with your decision
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, Portuguese would be a plus
  • Knowledge of Workday will be appreciated
