Job Description

The Identification Commercial Leaderfor Animal Production in Spain is responsible for localizing and implementing the Identification strategy within the country.

This role requires the individual to develop specific Identification innovation strategies while ensuring alignment and consistent commercial development within the region.

Responsabilities:

Drive sales targets:

  • Take ownership of achieving and exceeding sales targets for Identification products in Spain.
  • Develop and execute efficient territory plans with Distributors and our Food Production Teams to maximize sales opportunities and market penetration.

Cross-functional teams:

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, R&D, and supply chain, to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.

Support and deploy development of Identification innovation strategies:

  • Collaborate with the Local & Regional Team to identify and develop innovative Identification solutions tailored to the needs of the Spanish market.
  • Develop and execute plans to implement the Identification strategy within Spain's animal production industry. Ensure alignment with the global strategy and adapt it to the local market.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' offerings to drive continuous improvement.

Build customer relationships:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Distributors. Support ID business in key customers in collaboration with sales force teams from Ruminants and Swine Business Units
  • Understand their needs, provide product information and support, and offer tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Product knowledge and collaboration:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our Identification products and stay updated with new developments.
  • Production Forecast and supply accuracy

Lobbying:

  • Maintain a positive relationship with competent authorities, clients and industry influencers to drive new business through lead generation activities

Requirements:

  • Educational background: A degree in business, agriculture, veterinary sciences, or a related field is preferred.Additional qualifications in sales or marketing are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales & Marketing, business development, or commercial roles within the animal production industry, preferably in identification or related segments.
  • English knowledge.
  • Sales acumen: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the animal production industry in Spain, including market dynamics, regulations, and emerging trends.
  • Knowledge of identification solutions and technologies is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leverage internal resources to achieve objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work cohesively towards common goals.
