The Frankfurt am Mainprofessional fire department is one of the largest and most modernprofessional fire departments in Germany.
With around 1,200employees, it is also one of the largest departments within thecity administration of Frankfurt am Main.
Over 1,000firefighters are on duty at twelve fire and rescue stations aroundthe clock, 365 days a year. The Central Control Center Frankfurt amMain is part of the professional fire department and coordinatesover 150,000 operations per year.
Our data-driven infrastructure isto be further developed and optimized to optimize and bettercontrol central processes.

Your tasks include :
- Ensuring the data integrity and quality ofthe Fire Directorate's database via the individual information anddatabase management systems
- Developing andapplying software algorithms for analyzing and interpretingspecialist data in collaboration with the specialist departments
- Validation and cleansing of incorrect datain the individual databases
- Formulation oftransformation rules for aggregation, extraction and reduction aswell as for transferring specialist data between datasets
- Creation of documentation and instructionsfor data collection
- Know-how transfer tospecialist users and training of colleagues on their subject area
- Supporting the specialist departments inidentifying and interpreting trends and patterns as well asadvising on the development of key figures and KPIs
- Advice on projects and the design of interfaces betweeninformation systems
You bringwith you :
- Completed universitydegree (Diplom(FH) / Bachelor) in computer science, businessinformatics or a comparable subject with a mathematical, technicalfocus or a corresponding, completed apprenticeship with severalyears of relevant professional experience
- In-depth knowledge and many years of experience in theadministration of databases as well as sound SQL knowledge
- Very good programming skills, ideallyexperience in the Python programming language
- Knowledge and experience in building and designingdata-driven architectures as well as initial experience withbusiness intelligence systems, data warehouse technologies orNo-SQL databases
- Analytical, planned andgoal-oriented approach to complex tasks
- Verygood verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to cooperate and intercultural competence
- Holistic and service-oriented thinking and goodcomprehension skills
