Become part of our team in the InformationTechnology department in the Technical Applications division at theearliest possible date as a dedicated
GISexpert (m / f / d)
Main areas of responsibility :
- System and application supportfor GIS applications
- Customizing,implementation and test management of the applications used in thearea
- Designing and optimizing the GISinfrastructure and cross-system data management
- Support for numerous interfaces to other applications
- Creation of SQL queries and development ofscripts for problem solving and automation of tasks
- Responsible for the long-term operation and furtherdevelopment of processes and the GIS system landscape incoordination with the specialist departments
- Support in the evaluation and preparation of geodata
- Coordination of collaboration with external serviceproviders
- Providing user support (supportand training) for questions relating to
geodata and GISsoftware
Willingness to take over andparticipate in / in cross-functional
special projects
Requirements :
Completed studies in the fields of geomatics,geoinformatics or geodata management, computer science, businessinformatics or similar with relevant professional experience orcomparable training with many years of experience in the
described field of activity
- Sound knowledge of geoinformation systems (Hexagon NetWorks andHexagon GeoMedia desirable)
- Practicalexperience and good knowledge of SQL-based geo-databases
- Basic knowledge of OGC standards and INSPRIE
- Programming experience as well as experiencewith geodata and other products of the Hessian HLBG are anadvantage or interest and willingness to learn in these areas
- Project management experience desirable
- Analytical, structured, quality- andsolution-oriented way of working
- Teamspirit, communication skills, a high degree of independence,personal responsibility and willingness to learn as well as a highdegree of flexibility and resilience
- Possession of a class 3 or B driving license
