At this point you might be asking yourself : Laia, how will be my day to day wearing the blue sweater? I asked that question too.

This Security Consultant should assess potential security threats or breaches of projects or initiatives according to Zurich Security Policies, defining the appropriate mitigation plans.

What will your day-to-day life be like?

• Conduct Information Security reviews of projects and new initiatives identifying potential security threats and breaches, providing complex technical advice, recommendations and security consultancy on networks, infrastructure, application, products and services supplied.
• Checking security protocols, policies, plans, and systems to cover all possible security threats.
• Evaluate security tests designing countermeasures to eliminate as many potential risks as possible.
• Meeting with Project Managers, IT Architects, Security counterparts to discuss security measures, provide information, and challenge the designed system.
• Compiling and presenting reports on the test results.
• Working with a team with high skills security consultants and specialists.
• Suggesting and following up action plans to improve new and existing security systems. Ensure technical implementation of mitigation actions evaluating the appropriate evidences.
• Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technology.
• Training PMs to recognize and defend against security breaches and risks.

How do you know you fit in? I’ll explain :

Don’t worry, we are not asking you to save the planet or meet 100% of the requirements.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Master in Security or a related field.
• ISACA certifications like CISA, CISSP, CRISC or similar, very desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in security and risk management.
• Excellent technical skills for reviewing security architecture.
• Strong computer coding and endpoint security skills.
• Great communication skills and the ability to present technical jargon in an understandable way.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• A highly logical, honest, and objective nature.
• Good teamwork and time management skills.
