We’re building one of the best Information Security teams to make Revolut the safest FinTech to our customers and that’s where you come in.
We need a highly technical and detail-oriented Security Engineer to establish the incident response and forensics capabilities, and play a vital role within Revolut’s security operations function
Someone who can identify and react to security scenarios where signs of compromise or abuse are identified against Revolut’s employees or systems

Your responsibilities
- Building security into all processes across the company
- Building and deploying systems for anomaly detection and prevention across a Cloud and SaaS native environment
- Encompassing work from building tools for automatic detection and remediation to deploying incident response playbooks with potential impact across teams within Security, Product teams, Compliance, Comms and others
Our requirements
- STEM bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within Information Security
- 3+ years of security experience or equivalent relevant academic experience
- Knowledge of Operating Systems, file systems, and memory on Windows, MacOS, Linux
- Good grasp on networking technologies, specifically TCP / IP and related protocols
- Experience in at least one general purpose language, preferably Python
- Experience in system design, development and deployment of services
- Experience with log ingestion and detection engineering processes on SIEM-like tools
- Experience in deploying services within cloud infrastructure environments; Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Azure with Terraform or Ansible
Optional
- Experience in deploying services within cloud infrastructure environments; Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Azure with Terraform or Ansible
- Experience with managing ElasticSearch deployments; ELK and Elastic SIEM
- Experience with security data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. Kibana, Jupyter notebooks)
- Strong team player attitude and ability to work independently with minimal oversight when required
- MSc degree in Information Security
