Openbravo is looking for a highly experienced Cloud Operations profiled for the position of Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Principal Engineer.
The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all daily Cloud operations, including the provisioning and continuous monitoring of customer environments and handling all internal and customer requests.
The Principal Engineer will report directly to the Infrastructure & Cloud Director. This position can be based in any place of Spain.
The function of the Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Principal Engineer has the following key areas of responsibility :
- Coordinate, prioritize, and manage all Infrastructure & Cloud day-to-day operations.
- Act as an escalation point in diagnosing and troubleshooting potential problems in all customer environments.
- Ensure all customer environments are continuously monitored for health and performance, and contractual SLAs are met.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the implementation of best practices in cloud technologies in the team and the company and enforce their application.
- Contribute and participate in the definition and implementation of innovation initiatives within the team.
- Ensure all requests from Cloud and On-premises customers are handled within the ticketing system.
- Manage and participate in the guards’ rotation system (24x7x365) as 3rd level support to provide technical support with infrastructure issues in the Openbravo Cloud.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
