The role would be key for sustaining EcoVadis hypergrowth, as part of both Architecture and IT&Security teams. As our company evolves and our product portfolio expands, we are focusing more on digitization, automation and integration between tools and platforms used across the company.
The role would be reporting to the Enterprise Architecture team, but working with our Integration and Automation team 80% of the time.
The successful candidate will :
- Participate in building long-term strategic roadmap of Automation Platform within company, together with Corporate Development, Integration and Automation team members and other architects within the organization;
- Advise stakeholders, both business and technical, within and outside of Integration and Automation team, on automation capabilities & best practices, to continuously improve and get most value for the business;
- Continuously improve our governance practices, by leading and contributing to Design Authority, formalizing environments architecture, helping to grow devops culture;
- Develop and lead partnerships with our Corporate Development, IT, Data Engineering, AI Center of Excellence, Digital Transformation teams, among other;
- Develop and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across integrations and Automations for teams both within Technology teams (IT, Engineering) and outside (citizen developers), across various SaaS platforms;
- Identify discrepancies between the technical architecture, agreed practices and systems designs proposed by project teams;
- applies to both internal IT teams and citizen developers;
- Monitor new technological advances and assists project teams in reducing technical debt;
- Explore and validate new solutions in Integration and Automation space, both pro-code and no-code - based on business requirements and / or own research;
- Drive continuous improvement, explore, deliver Proof of Concepts, help driving adoption;
- Partner with IT team members to ensure architecture aligns with security strategy / policies and to provide a consensus-based scalable and adaptable architectural solution.
In summary, you will be responsible for :

- Projects - driving and / or validating solution & technical design : 30%
- Explore new solutions : 20%

Your first challenge will be linked to the selection of our future Automation platform.
Qualifications
- Very good knowledge of automation and integration platforms in general, ESB, IPaaS, RPA;
- Experience with both no-code Integration and pro-code integration ( Python, Google Apps Script / , integration design, knowledge of various integration patterns;
- At least 5 years focusing on architecture;
- Broad understanding of technical aspects of integrations, including solution maintainability, performance and security;
- Strong focus on data, not only integration contracts but as well data lakes, analytical environments;
- Experience with selected Azure services would be a plus, Azure Service Bus, Azure Databricks;
- Experience with all stages of SDLC - from building vision & strategy, through vendor selection process in some projects, technical design, assisting implementation teams & troubleshooting issues;
- Good stakeholder management skills; proficiency in verbal and written communication;
- Pragmatic approach to governance & application portfolio rationalization;
- Must be a team player, but with high a degree of self-organization.
