Role Purpose

To gain a good overview of the HR function by assisting the HR Manager and Recruitment BP in providing an effective support in especially in talent acquisition then to give support to some of the HR operational tasks.

We offer a temporary contract to cover a paternity leave (estimated period of 6 months).

Main responsibilities :

1. Resourcing

  • Managing approval process for business requests
  • Assisting managers on developing and updating job descriptions
  • Working closely with the European Resourcing Team to source and attract candidates by using databases & social media.
  • Being able to review candidates’ applications and decide whether they meet the qualifications to be considered for open positions.
  • Conducting interviews and filtering candidates for open positions.
  • Provide clear candidate assessments linking to Chubb values.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with the hiring managers and HR Mgr to determine the effectiveness of recruiting.

ng and Development

  • Initiatives to promote Learning offer
  • Work closely with the L&D team in the UK to organize traingins for Iberian employees.
  • Participating on building and delivery trainings in Spanish / English to Iberian population.
  • Help to assess the talent of the Iberian branch.
  • Enhancing new L&D platform CTX (Chubb Talent Experience)

3. Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Work on increasing employees’ awareness about Chubb offer as Employer : Benefits, flexible working, wellbeing, and D&I.
  • Propose initiatives that contribute to keep employees’ moral high
  • Ensure the Spanish staff understands and applies all policies and HR Processes through effective use of HR Space in The Village
  • Work closely with Marketing & communication team to increase employee’s awareness on Chubb HR process and Policies through the HR Village page.
  • Help to the HR mgr to Implement initiatives to raise the CHUBB Brand as employer.

4. HR Initiatives&Projects

  • Participating together with the HR team on implementing new HR initiatives
  • Working as a true team player assisting to the HR area on business projects implementation
  • Keeping in touch with other HR colleagues in Europe to share best practices, asking for guidance or providing assistance.
  • Making suggestions on improving employee engagement
  • Working on building new HR policies or procedures as required.

Required skills :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. (Master on HR is a +)
  • High English level (verbal & written) and French or German are definite plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel spreadsheets & Org Charts)
  • Desirable experience on HCM (Human Capital Management & HR systems
  • At least 4 years of experience in Human resources mainly in talent acquisition.
  • Solid knowledge of HR processes, policies, and procedures. (Know how a company runs the human resources department and understand employee HR needs)
  • Proven work experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates.
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills (how to manage communication between HR team members and employees and managers from different areas)
  • Good analytical skills (Able to manage and understand numbers easily)
  • Strong planning and execution skills
  • Ability to build relationships with internal colleagues across both local and regional lines and work as part of a team.
  • Strong customer focus and solutions trate a commitment to integrity and ethics.
