We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst in Merchandising Area at Zooplus . You will create insights that influence how we make decisions that have impact at an international scale.
Using (advanced) analysis methods you unlock vast business opportunities and translate results into goal-oriented business actions.
You will be working on a variety of new challenges and interesting projects that tap your interests and strengths while collaborating closely with your stakeholder, such as Product Management, Marketing, Markets, Management and IT.
Good communication skills, especially with non-technical colleagues, would be a strong asset.
Responsibilities :
- Partnering with business and technical stakeholders to translate challenging retail business problems into dashboards to visualize insights as a guidance for decision making.
- Perform exploratory analysis including hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis and inference, including ad-hoc analysis on specific topics.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure our analysis are having a real impact and advise business on interpretation and possible actions.
- Work closely with Data Scientists to create predictive and prescriptive models.
- Discover and make new data sources accessible, from data discovery to data pipelining and QA.
- Create and develop analytical processes to advance the company’s level of insight.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills.
- University degree computer science, mathematics, analytics or comparable experience.
- Experience with Tableau and / or PowerBI.
- Strong SQL Knowledge.
- Experience using Python or a similar scripting language.
- First experience or interest in the creation of Data Science Models.
- Being a strong team player ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Very good English (spoken and written).
