Your Role and Responsibilities

Supporting procurement purchases in the IT services industry as part of an international team of lawyers

Analyzing and advising on all types of legal matters in connection with IT contracts with vendors in Europe and the Middle East

Negotiating IT contracts as part of a multidisciplinary team

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Law degree in any European country.
• At least three years of relevant professional experience as in-house lawyer or as an attorney at law
• Contracting and negotiation expertise
• Experience with working in an international team and on English language contracts
• Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English (C2 level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Admission to the local Bar (Spain)

• Experience with different commodity types in the field of IT transactions (e.g. software, hardware, Cloud services)
• Experience with negotiating client agreements in the IT sector would be considered an advantage
• Additional relevant qualifications (for example LL.M. in IT/IP or Privacy Law) and further bar admissions would be considered an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of Portuguese, allowing understanding and negotiating of contracts in Portuguese. B2 in European Language Framework.
