The Oracle Retail Cloud Architecture Team is part of the Oracle Global Industry Unit. It is focused on business-driven enterprise architectures to support enterprise-wide applications solutions across Oracle portfolio and customer silos.

Our role will be varied and fit to each engagement, typically involving the activities below :
- Drive engaging discovery interviews with customer stakeholders to help uncover pain points and to understand business processes within their organisation
- Assist sales team to qualify, structure and manage an engagement process with customers
- Assist sales teams with account planning and penetration / adoption strategies
- Provide thought leadership & coaching to sales & presales to accelerate sales cycles
- Work alongside cross functional pre-sales and consulting teams to engage, excite, and educate prospects on their transformation
- Help drive customers towards strategic thinking that drives business results
- Build long-term architecture relationship with customer at the chief Architect / CTO level
- Identify and develop potential transformational opportunities through multiple smaller engagements
- Co-ordinate all aspects of the solution (business and technical) into a cohesive solution architecture
- Articulate the overall solution to customer key architecture stakeholders
- Provide technical architecture insights and expertise to the team

Qualifications and experience
- A proven and enthusiastic, high-energy, naturally curious and problem-solving individual who is visibly passionate and capable of inspiring others
- Prior hands on experience on multiple Oracle Retail Saas Solutions
- Strong understanding of Oracle sales processes
- 10+ years across sales / presales and consulting positions
- 2+ years experience in a software as a service application sales role
- Wide knowledge of IT market and trends
- Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions including components of Finance, Supply Chain and Digital Transformation
- Business level English required; at least one additional Business Level language required; additional languages desirable
- Education to BS degree or equivalent is required; advanced degree desirable
The role requires national and international travel around 25% to 50% of the time.
As a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading pre-sales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Well organized and exceptional team player, your focus will be on large or complex sales opportunities requiring to solve some of the most complex retail business problems.
You will be in charge of the development and delivery of outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations, and will ensure the consistency and relevance of the message delivered to the customer or prospect across all of Oracle solutions.
Throughout the engagement, you will advise internal and external clients on overall solution and technical architecture and lead the technical architecture aspects of the sales opportunity.
