Medical Education Specialist

What challenges await you?

Join our dynamic team as a Medical Education Specialist with a focus on omnichannel engagement, particularly within the Hematology field and Precision Oncology.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of advancing Medical Education by leveraging a variety of communication channels to engage healthcare professionals and learners.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance learning experiences across online platforms, webinars, workshops, and traditional educational settings.

All these efforts are expected to improve the quality of healthcare.

  • Design and execute comprehensive omnichannel Medical Education programs to reach a diverse audience of healthcare professionals, with a particular emphasis on Hematology and Precision Oncology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and interactive educational content that aligns with industry standards and guidelines.
  • Manage the coordination of virtual and in-person events, ensuring seamless integration of various channels for optimal participant engagement.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of omnichannel initiatives, focusing on Hematology and Precision Oncology education, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in Medical Education, technology, and adult learning methodologies to incorporate innovative approaches into our programs, particularly within the field of Hematology and Precision Oncology.
  • Foster relationships with key thought leaders and subject matter experts in Hematology and Precision Oncology to enhance the credibility and relevance of educational content.
  • Provide support and training to faculty and educators on best practices for delivering content through multiple channels, emphasizing the unique aspects of Hematology and Precision Oncology.
  • Manage the development of International Medical Education Strategy and education curriculum.
  • Lead the strategic design, execution, and dissemination of regional / affiliate needs assessments.
  • Lead the development of a 1-2 year education curriculum aligned with the Medical Education strategy.
  • Coordinate Thought Leaders insights across the region, identifying, developing, establishing, and maintaining strategic collaborations for high-quality Medical Education.
  • Collaborate with HCPs, Medical Societies for MedEd Services, driving best practices for Medical Education engagement.
  • Support the implementation of the Medical Education Functional Strategy and Operational Plan within the respective therapeutic area / geography.
  • Participate in continuous performance improvement programs and competency-based education and career development opportunities.

  • Knowledge of principles of adult education and instructional design.
  • Thorough knowledge of drug and disease area, with 5-7 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry are of advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills, capable of engaging in external professional relationship building and networking.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to translate strategy into an innovative and implementable plan.
  • Ability to influence without authority and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and attention to detail with budget management competence.
  • Highly motivated to listen to external and internal needs, with significant direct experience in servicing customer needs for complex information.
  • Ability to work in a virtual-based role and communicate effectively in virtual teams.
