Operational planning effectiveness specialist

Barcelona, Spain

Global Planning Taste team member who will focus on Operational planning effectiveness (production planning, materials planning, inventory management) within the BU (Business Unit).

Your key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to increasing the Operational planning effectiveness within the Taste BU by ensuring standards & best practices are adopted and processes harmonized across the regions and within the global team.

  • Provide support on increasing the adoption and capabilities of the new planning tool across the Taste BU.

  • Participate on other Operational planning related projects to ensure both the requirements from the BU are well captured and the new ways of working embraced by the various stakeholders.

  • Gather new user stories which could significantly add quantifiable value to planning accuracy, processes, automations, or usability of the tools.

  • Liaise with end-users to analyze root causes of different planning issues and provide a recommended solution and/or a briefing on the needed requirements.

  • Monitor & quantify planning effectiveness KPIs to valorize the impact of the various initiatives.

  • Drive master data settings to enhance data quality and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Be the point of contact between group/global project teams and regional planning teams for the assigned initiatives.

  • Act as the Global BU champion animating the CoP (Community of Practice) for his/her areas of expertise and liaise with the Regions in the BU as well as with his/her counterparts in Group Planning.

You bring

  • Experience with supply planning (production & materials requirement planning)

  • Experience with SAP and Kinaxis

  • Experience with SAP-APO is a plus

  • Analytical and reporting skills

  • Ability to develop solutions to a variety of problems by analyzing data, reasoning options and presenting a recommended solution

  • Ability to communicate with different levels of stakeholders

  • Resilience, persistence and keep a positive attitude in front of difficulties

  • Prioritization and time management skills

  • A fresh perspective with constructive challenges to existing measures and ways of working

  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus

  • Actively collaborating with team members and stakeholders to achieve our objectives towards a common goal
