Location : Madrid, Spain (office-based)

Pure Storage Spain is looking for a Partner Account Manager (PAM) to develop and manage several Strategic Resellers in Iberia.

The successful PAM will work in tandem with the Regional Sales Director and Account Executives as well as our Distribution Partner Account Manager to successfully develop and service the assigned partners and prospects within their respective territory.

They will also collaborate with the Sales team, Channel Technical team, and Field Marketing team on programs and events designed to promote PURE’s product and drive revenue to Pure through partners.

In this role you will :

  • Create strategies and lead team efforts to maximize sell-through of Pure products within your assigned partners.
  • Manage, understand, support and be the main point of contact for your assigned partners.
  • Drive your assigned partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through partner-led pipeline contribution, sales best practices, training and support.
  • Manage sales orders and provide status to partner, manager and sales teams.
  • Communicate masterfully with partners on new product offerings and channel programs
  • Collaborate with the amazing marketing team (both internal and external) to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects.
  • Keep ahead of competition , raise competitive challenges and products.
  • Engage in, attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
  • Conduct contract negotiations & define and execute partner business plans.
  • Conduct monthly / quarterly business performance reviews for distributors / PAM-Managed Partners.
  • Drive and execute C hannel Programs creating channel-led business contributions through deal registrations and partner-source opportunities.

  • Demonstrated experience developing Reseller Channels in Iberia - strategic partner management is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience
  • Collaborative person with a growth mindset. An ambitious attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Desire to drive change and evangelize new technologies
  • Passion for post-sales customer & partner success
  • Knowledge of the storage industry specifically : Fibre Channel, NFS, and Enterprise Storage architectures
  • Knowledge of storage adjacent solution areas like Virtualization, Kubernetes / Containers, Data Protection solutions, Analytics, AI or a high interest in developing your knowledge in those areas
  • Experience in an end user sales role is a plus
  • BA / BA degree in business, marketing or software engineering or related disciplines
  • Native / bilingual Spanish & business fluent English language skills required; Fluency in Portuguese is a plus
