Job Title : Plastic Parts Design Leader (CATIA V5)

Client : As a leader in mobility, our client offers innovative technologies for more sustainable, safer, connected and inspiring mobility.

Project Information :

• Project Name : Exterior Trims & Bumpers - Renault HHN MY25 (Restyling of Renault Austral)
• Scope : Front bumper parts, wheel arch finisher & door molding, tailgate panel
• Development Phase : Industrialization between FOT parts & PPAP and Tuning & validation phase.
• Location : Arévalo, Spain
• Start : W14 / 2024
• Introduction week @ Arevalo in W11 (3 days)
• Expected End : W10 / 2025 (to be confirmed)
• Opportunity : 1 day of home office per week (To be confirmed based on activity)

Missions :

• Ensures product design and architecture meet the customer specification and quality requirements. PO manufacturing requirements, as well as all costs and timing expectations to be achieved within the product development
• Manages functionally the CAD resources to fulfill the design
• Ensures PO Design Standard are implemented (PODS & Technical Solutions)

Main Activities :

• Product Tuning :
• Ensure alignment with geometry, specifications, and manufacturing input.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product design.
• CAD Update and Database Management :
• Proficient in Catia V5 R23 for CAD updates.
• Manage our client's CAD database efficiently.
• Customer Engagement :
• Represent our client in meetings with Renault Carrocerias (Valladolid) & RSA Palencia.
• Participate in geometry events to address customer requirements effectively.
• Measurement and Analysis :
• Conduct measurements to support product analysis and address customer requests.
• Document Management :
• Utilize and update RSA documents including Control Part Report, TAG, Macro HCPP.
• Maintain and update our client's documents including Product Tuning Matrix & Geometry Dashboard.

Requirements :

Engineering Bachelor Degree or equivalent professional experiences.

Confident communication with Fluent English.

• Native CAD construction, CAD Data Analysis with 3D Viewer
• BOM CAD Data Management
• Technical Specification Product Design
• Tolerance stack up Calculation
• Drawing 2D / 3D PMI to OEM / PO specification, respecting GD&T rules
• Injection Tooling Principles of Product Design
• Product Design Manufacturing
• Fixation, Assembly, & Location
• Product Evaluations / Optimization
