We are looking for a highly skilled Applied Scientist with a strong background in Machine Learning, Causal Inference, Data Science, Data Mining, or related fields.
Candidates should be passionate about artificial intelligence and optimization at web scale. They will play a key role in driving algorithmic improvements to online and offline systems, develop and deliver robust and scalable solutions, make direct impact to both user and content provider experience, and continually improve our KPIs.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or other engineering fields
- Proficient experience with C# / C++ / Java / Python / Scala or any other OOP skills with a good knowledge of Data Structures / Algorithms
- 5+ year experience in machine learning, and / or related fields
- Have a good understanding of state-of-the-art natural language processing and machine learning models and frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Have research or work experience in recommendation or related ML systems
- Experience working through full product cycles from initial design to final product delivery

Responsibilities
- Have deep understanding of the product, work closely with leadership, cross-functional partners and set team / technical area direction, roadmap and lead junior engineers to deliver on the goals
- Lead and participate in design discussions and provide feedback for the team.
- Drive innovations in ranking, user understanding, content understanding and ecosystem growth to deliver customer impact
- Drive architectural changes into the product to expand our footprint and increase developer agility
- Regularly communicate team progress internally and evangelize progress and opportunities to a wider audience including management and leadership
- Mentor team members, and help build a highly capable team
- Be a culture carrier leading the team to constantly innovate, and building a diverse, inclusive and nurturing environment
