Provides primarily pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products / applications / solutions.
Uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products / applications / solutions.
May create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products / applications / solutions. May build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and / or product demo for client.
May provide consultation to prospective users and / or product capability assessment and validation.
Working at NTT
Primarily involved in thetechnical pre-sales processworking alongside NTT ClientExecutives & Sales Specialists toassess clients’ business needsand narrow down thepotential technical solutions and platforms that would be thebest fit for client businessgoals
Demonstrate knowledge and value of technologies, platforms, private clouds, and publicclouds (AWS, Azure, and Google), and the migration to theseplatforms
Leverage subject matter experts in the overall solution design byworking with crossfunctional technical teams CSD Group Architects, Enterprise Architect, Advisory, ServiceDelivery &Operations.
Articulate value proposition, present solution, andbuild value throughout the sales processwith all departments of the clientorganization
Perform necessary research of third-party technologies, tools, and applications that areintroduced during the pre-salesprocess
Support the definition of a Managed Services solution that meets the agreedrequirements
Contribute to sales process improvement, includingdeveloping knowledge bases,sharingpracticeswith other SolutionArchitects
Maintainrelevant cloud and technology certifications, be aware of NTT cloud offerings andbe asubject matter expert for multiple sections within the NTT portfolio
What will make you a good fit for the role?
Prior experience of at least 5 years inmanaged service / cloud service provider
Applied Azure and / or GCP and / or AWSinfrastructure architect and presales skills.Desired certifications (any one or more) :
Azure : AZ Azure Fundamentals minimum, Azure associate certspreferred
AWS : AWS Cloud Practitioner
VMWare : VTSP or VTSP for AWS / Azure
ITIL : Version 3 or Later
Understanding of virtualization, hybridcomputing environments, storage technologyand cloud native technologies
Excellent Communication and Presentationskills
Ability to Facilitate workshops with clients andNTT teams to discover requirements, presentsolutions and obtain client buy-in
