Working as a project Software Engineer, you will be part of the team to cover development lifecycle of ABB Robotics OptiFact software. In this role, you will lead and execute technical software deliverables in various phases of our products to ensure successful deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities

• Develop software architecture, design for scalability, and information security, including network, storage, and software testing.
• Develop, document, and maintain software systems, including requirements, designs, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Implement software features, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
• Produce metrics and reports describing relative KPI’s’s for team performance.
• Serve as technical lead and mentor to junior-level Software Engineers.
• Update and maintain technical documentation.
• Remain up-to-date on industry standards, emerging technologies, and best practice methodologies.
• Ethical professional, aware of their work’s impact on society
• Assist product Owners and lead project engineers in technical reviews.
• Creates highly structured and maintainable code and deliverables with right amount of documentation.

Your background

• +6 years of experience in software teams working as software developer.
• +2 years of experience as Tech Lead or Scrum Master
• Demonstrated experience in leadership and mentorship.
• Programming languages, TypeScript, NodeJS .NET, Python.
• Knowledge in: MQTT, AMQP, https, SSL, Certificates, GraphQL
• Databases: Postgres, Mongo...
• Demonstrated experience in Docker and Cloud Services from hyperscalers like Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Demonstrated experience to integrate, configure, test, and validate software systems developed in an orderly and efficient way, applying knowledge and optimizing the software to be delivered.
• Spanish and English languages (required).
