Product Compliance & Quality Manager
Location : Munich, Germany; Berlin, Germany; Paris, France; remote, Germany; remote, France; remote, Spain; remote, UK; remote, Italy
This role is part of our newly formed Sustainability team. You will support our global supply base to ensure that all products meet our quality standards and identify risks across all product categories and supply chains.
Your expertise will be critical to the business, and we offer candidates room for growth and cross-functional skill development.
You will work with our Supply and Legal teams to ensure a compliant supply chain, keeping an eye on emerging legislation and the quality of our products.
Your responsibilities
- Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements for vendors and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
- Monitor and continuously update our testing approaches and ensure suppliers provide supporting documentation and certifications.
- Analyze returns due to quality issues and communicate with factories / suppliers and conduct and coordinate in-process inspections.
- Ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements and assist with labeling and product registration requirements.
- Identify compliance risks, manage instances of product non-compliance and support teams with relevant data, knowledge, and occasional training.
About you
- 5+ years in Product Compliance and quality testing within the textile industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of the supply chain, including stakeholder and international supplier communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Management, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Up-to-date on current and upcoming industry legislations, with a focus on their impact on product design and supply chain operations.
- Proficient in managing compliance and quality assurance processes.
- Effective in developing and implementing quality and compliance testing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating data and improving product quality
