On the Product team, we work together with stakeholders throughout the organization to define, design and develop features that will delight our users and customers. We are a team with members from many different backgrounds working in two multidisciplinary squads called Bananas and Nuts!
What will you do here?
What kind of impact will you make? As Product UX-UI Designer, you’ll design, implement, and maintain the visual identity of Devex’s website.
Your role will be on the team responsible for the product line of "News". You will be part of a multifunctional team (with Frontend, Backend, and Infrastructure Engineers, QA Analysts, and a Product Owner).
Responsibilities
Create and design solutions based on UX research and business requirements.
Implement user testing and UX research to create data-driven solutions.
Analyze existing designs to identify issues and propose solutions or improvements.
Work independently on sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, etc.
Design with a built Design System and its components.
Communicate to explain the design and its intention to the team and stakeholders.
Requirements
Proficient knowledge of UX/UI tools like: Sketch, Figma, Invision, Hotjar, etc.
Portfolio showcasing how to approach problems and processes from ideation to execution.
Experience designing for responsive websites and an understanding of the technology behind it (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
EU work authorization and ability to work from our Barcelona office.
Strong skills in written and spoken English.

This is a global contractor agreement with a 9 month length of contract.
