Essential responsibilities and duties.

PML Manager main missions and role are :

• Coordinate, coach and animate his team, organizing weekly reviews with close follow-up and support of any critical subject.
• Lead the Program Industrial Workshops (IDW#1 and 2 cardboard) in order to define and align the most efficient Production System : Equipment, Tooling concept, layout, standard compliance in line with Forvia strategy.
• Support his / her team in challenging Product and Process design in order to ensure maximum profitability for the company.
• Identify Opportunities for improving Program profitability through automation, footprint optimization, make or Buy Studies, supporting his team in conducting studies and CAR Committee presentation.
• Support his team members in defining and tracking Industrial KPIs : MOD, Capacity, CAPEX.
• Track and support Program Process Readiness prior shipment to plant through robust preparation of Preserial and PPTR Committees, supporting his team in the T&EE coordination.
• Ensure Industrial timing completion (including supply chain readiness) and start of production for all programs under his / her scope, including MPT tracking.
• Collect and control manufacturing risks and opportunities, deploying Best practices and Lesson Learnt within his-her team
• Validate and track Manufacturing functional milestones.

The ideal candidate will have / be :

• Engineering degree
• Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
• 5 years experience within automotive industry
• Leadership and Team oriented
• Results oriented
• International mindset, travel availability
