The Programme Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for managing the timely and successful implementation of complex strategically important solutions into healthcare laboratories.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance to teams, Project Managers, and to oversee progress of operations.

This position is part of the Customer Operations Department located in UK and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Implementations Team and report to the Senior Implementations Manager in Customer Operations responsible for successful Programme delivery. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Formulate, organise and monitor inter-connected projects.

  • Coordinate cross-project activities.

  • Plan programme design, monitor progress, resolve issues, apply counter measures.

  • Coordinate with multiple departments to identify and allocate resources, plan and execute team activities and deliverables.

  • Manage all project stakeholders, including 3rd parties and customers, to ensure a synchronized implementation at Programme level

  • Solve issues within networked hub & spoke NHS Pathology organisations (the customer) using tools from the Danaher Business System

  • Control budget, deadlines and activities

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Prior Programme Manager experience who is used to handling large, complex programmes & projects

  • Experience of managing physical installation of products as well as the implementation of services

  • Programme & Project governance, maintaining documentation and records

  • Adequate English skills, able to write meeting minutes and strong responses to tender questions

  • Recognised, formal, Project/Programme Management Qualification or similar

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • MS Project, SmartSheets

  • Autocad

  • Completing tender responses
