Project Logistics Manager

Location : Burgos, Spain

Level : Middle management

Mission :

The aim of this position is to lead logistics activities during Project Logistics : Acquisition, Logistics Costs, Packaging, Value Stream Mapping, Logistics conditions with Suppliers, Intercompany, Customers, RFQ...

Responsibilities :

  • Build Project Logistics Team budget, follow up target’s achievement and resources staffing (head counts, gross cost, posting to Projects).
  • Ensure Project Logistics participation in Program Acquisitions, guarantee correct inputs for each program according to Antolin standards and Customer expectations.
  • Lead and coordinate the Project Logistics WW Team in order to deliver optimised solutions to Programs, meeting both Antolin and Customer milestones and internal economic targets (Packaging CAPEX, Piece Price Amortization, transport cost, inventories, packaging reuse ).
  • Work in close cooperation with Antolin Plants in order to deliver a smooth Program Transfer to Plant in line with Plant reality and Antolin Targets.
  • Coordinate Project Logistics activities / deliverables with rest of Functions (Purchasing, Sales, Industrial...).
  • Active participation and direct involvement in the running Programs in Acquisition & in Development.
  • Propose to the Organization Best Practices and Lessons Learnt, ensuring know how capitalization and implementation.
  • Lead and contribute to the creation and standardization of new tools / KPI for the continuous improvement of the Programs Development and follow up Ensure that the standards of the Maintenance Department are sustained.

What we are looking for :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering / Economics / Business administration / Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Automotive Industry, within the logistics area, including Plant Logistics responsibilities.
  • English : high level. German : desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of Logistics, specific understanding automotive requirements.
  • Office, ERP working routines knowledge. Specific knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Able to communicate, coordinate and motivate a multinational team.
  • Analytic, able to consolidate & analyse data, set targets and track its evolution (cost, budget ).
  • Transparent, team player, rigorous and organized. Result oriented.
