Project Manager (Pv- Photovoltaic)- Distributed Solar / Self-Consumption

We are currently looking for a PV PROJECT MANAGER for our headquarters in Madrid, in Barcelona or Lleida

MISSION

The PV Project Manager at Engie Spain's Distributed Solar, Storage & Green Mobility department leads and oversees the execution of self-consumption solar installations projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage end-to-end execution of self-consumption solar projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to guarantee adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project plans, progress reports, and documentation for effective project monitoring and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address any project-related issues or challenges, ensuring their timely resolution.
• Oversee resource allocation and optimize project workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
• Ensure strict adherence to environmental and regulatory compliance throughout project execution.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• Courses: PRL (Health & Safety) of 60 hours, electrical works and height risks.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in solar installation projects.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in C&I Self-Consumption sector.
• Proven track record in leading teams and managing project lifecycles.
• Electrical and regulatory knowledge in Low and Medium Voltage.
• Knowledge of communication systems.
• General knowledge of the PV sector, suppliers, technicians, among others
• Familiarity with computer systems, CAD, Cype,PVSyst and Microsoft Project.

LANGUAGES

Fluency in Spanish.

English B2.

REPORTING LINE

Reports directly to the Construction Manager within the Distributed Solar, Storage & Green Mobility department.
