Project Manager-Software (M/F/D)

YOUR TASKS:

• Manage new development projects inside Global Engineering focused on software activities across the different Nordex portfolio platforms, assuring budget, quality and timeline of the project.
• Porcessing the project scope with interdisciplinary project teams (Engineering, Sales, Production, Logistics, Installation, Service).
• Evaluation of project ideas and support up to approval.
• Align schedule and scope of own projects across the product platform with other project managers.
• Report to the program director of Turbine Serial Development as well as escalation to relevant committees.
• Coordination of the necessary resources with line and project managers.
• Coordination of technical aspects and risk management with chief engineers and divisional management.
• Organization of prototype tests and ramp-up activities in the operation areas.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Diploma/Master`s in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engieering, Information Technology or similar.
• Project Management experience required (PM certification preferred).
• Several years of experience in wind turbine industry, preferably on electrical and control functions.
• Very good MS office skills (including MS Project Server).
• Experience in an  ERP and PLM system advantageous.
• Team worker, customer & solution oriented, clear and structured communication and reporting skills.
• High quality awareness and assertiveness.
• Intercultural experience necessary.
• Fluent in English.
• Relevant experience in an Engineering or project management position in wind industry.
• Availability to travel.
