Project Procurement Engineer, to join our team based in Barcelona, Spain, to lead the purchasing activities for national clients.

The main responsibilities will be :

• Ensures that the Project policies, procedures, and schedules are aligned to the Procurement Department activities.
• Supervises and harmonizes the activities of the Expediter Coordinator and all buyers working on the Project.
• Defines with the Procurement Manager the policy to be followed for spare parts procurement and the conditions under which vendors will provide field supervision
• Manages the Procurement team assigned on permanent basis to the Project Task Force, if applicable.
• Makes sure that Buyers selects Vendors in accordance with the Project Vendor List .
• Follows all the phases related to the call for bids.
• Recommends a payment policy with the aim of avoiding a negative cash-flow balance.
