As a QA Automation Engineer, you will work in focused and dynamic team delivering value through web applications and will be responsible for automation testing process, assuring standard levels of quality to all our channel platforms along with providing assistance to manual testing.
You will be part of the IT Marketing & Sales Omnichannel Engagement team and your daily tech stack will be composed by languages and platforms such as Java, Selenium, RestaAssured and Jenkins, among others.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Work with the scrum team to identify testing needs and opportunities.
- Work with the team in developing a QA automation testing strategy for each product, determining the appropriate balance of manual and automated tests, as well as the types of tests.
- Create manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute and report on the full testing suite of both manual and automated tests.
Requirements
- Bachelor and / or master’s degree in Computer Science or comparable.
- At least 3 years of experience in automation testing (Experience on Selenium along with Java or Python) for Front end (web) and backend
- Familiarity with tech stack of the following tools : Java, Selenium or Cucumber, OkHttp / RestAssured, SpringBoot, Gradle, Jenkins, BrowserStack
- Knowledge in QA Methodology (Regression and Smoke testing), in test case designing, identifying test data needs, and set up, testing techniques and test optimization methods.
- Experience using source control systems such as Github and having knowledge of best practices for agile testing on a Scrum team is a plus
- Advanced level of English
