This is what you can expect
Equipment and certification (EC) division at ALTER TECHNOLOGY covers a very wide range of activities oriented to execute testing and provide confidence for the regulation compliance ( e.
g. : CE marking, RTCA-DO, MIL standards, etc.) and other specific customer requirements. The services offered vary from EMC, Radio, climatic, mechanical, optical, electrical, reliability or functional testing.
The Certification Body at ALTER TECHNOLOGY is Notified Body for several EU Directives such as Radio Equipment Directive (RED 2014 / 53 / EU), Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMCD 2014 / 30 / UE), Construct Product Regulation (CPR EU 305 / 2011) and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS EU 2019 / 945).
Additionally, we are accredited to certify intrusion alarm and access control systems and we provide the system certification services of TUV NORD in Spain and Portugal.
ALTER TECHNOLOGY is looking for a Radio Equipment Technical Evaluator to join CB department.
The main tasks to be performed :
- Technical review of product specifications and technical documentation as required in the Directive.
- Radio testing assessment.
- Review and assessment of the results of test reports.
- Conducting witnessed tests at the manufacturer facilities.
- Review of product modifications and the justifications of the manufacturer that ensure compliance.
- Review of standards evolution to determine tests applicable on already certified products.
- Supporting the project manager, dealing with tasks such as reporting and planning.
- Evaluation of the test plan proposed by the manufacturer and the feasibility to conduct it in our laboratory.
- Participation to the European Coordination Groups of Notified Bodies and attendance to the plenary meetings.
- Support in the tasks of the Technical Secretariat of the EMC Notified Bodies association EUANB as deputy.
- Stay informed on the new regulations and requirements stablished by the EU Commission and analyse new business opportunities.
- Optimization of procedures and processes through digitalization ideas.
This is what we expect
REQUIREMENTS
Required Education : Bachelor s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Industrial or Telecommunication engineering or Physics with focus on electronics.
Experience : Well-experienced in a similar conformity assessment role.
- Proven experience in industrialisation and electronic products.
- Experience in design, validation, verification, industrialization, NPI, conformity, assessment, testing, V&V, safety, functional, environmental, industry, EMS of electronic and / or RADIO EQUIPMENT.
- Experience in manufacturing, installation and commissioning of electronic products.
- Working knowledge of CE Marking, EU Directives, mainly Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMCD 2014 / 30 / EU), Radio Equipment (RED 2014 / 53 / EU) and Low Voltage (LVD 2014 / 35 / EU), and associated Harmonized Standards.
- Working knowledge of Quality management systems under accredited environments as ENAC (ISO 9001, ISO / IEC 17025, ISO / IEC 17065).
- Proven experience in :
- Knowledge of testing & certification processes.
- Knowledge of regulation and standards of electronic products.
- Excellent command of English spoken and written is a must.
ADVANTAGEOUS SELECTION CRITERIA
- Qualification as product auditor (m / f / d).
- Working experience in a European or international environment.
- Working experience in conducting quality or product audits and performing technical analysis concerning the product design.
- Knowledge of standards EN IEC 62368-1, ETSI EN 301 489, ETSI EN 30X XXX.
- Experience in proposals management concerning European projects.
- Experience in manufacturing, installation and commissioning of electronic products : Electronics Manufacturing QA standards : IPC-771, IPC-A-630, IPC-1782A
- Knowledge of Air Traffic Management and Control systems and wireless data communications technologies (RFID, ISM, LTE, TETRA).
