Project & Programme Operations

  • Act as the Client’s primary Point of Contact in the region for strategy, implementation and escalation for capital works, blending Client’s Global direction with Local Business needs.
  • Own the relationship with Key Stakeholders and assure effective communication from internal Client challenges. Serve as the single point of contact providing accountability and certainty.

Ensure alignment and communication to client business lines and stakeholders. Where required manage conflict resolution.

  • Provides accountability to client for the Project Delivery of the Client’s portfolio in Europe, from strategy to handover to internal Facility Management team.
  • Assist the Client in the capital project strategy including, but not limited, to annual project planning and defining in country delivery strategy to achieve value for money
  • Active involvement during the due diligence / planning stage, providing information and recommendations to Client on budget, program, and procurement route.
  • Establish and maintain a standard set of practices, processes and templates for managing projects consistently and efficiently to reduce project related risk and costs.
  • Lead the continuous review and optimisation of process / governance with a view to ensuring it is aligned to business needs, reflects industry best practice, proportionate and scalable to the needs of the regional business identifying and driving opportunities for strengthening governance / compliance through efficiency and improvement to project management process and methods
  • Spearhead Client’s process for business approval in the region, review before formal submission into Client’s systems.
  • Conducts regular update presentations to Global and Regional Client Stakeholders.
  • Oversee the collection, consolidation and analysis of program and project data to drive effective decision making
  • Act as a point of escalation, liaising with JLL Country leads to resolve matters in relation to project stress
  • Establish and foster strong relationship with key Client Stakeholders (eg : Operations, IT and Security) and local Business Sponsors.
  • Ensure effective implementation of client’s Global Workplace standards and local office requirements and regulations.
  • Support the development of the Client’s Global Sustainable initiatives by working with the JLL Sustainability Team to develop and prioritize projects to be incorporated into the annual capital plan
  • Lead a team of programme / project managers to : define, agree and report on project timelines, technical issues and stakeholder engagement for capital projectsEnsure all work orders and contracts are drafted, approved and executed before starting work on a projectProvide oversight to all of the regional projects, give expert guidance and advice on all matters relating to project delivery.

On board in country delivery project managers and ensure they deliver projects to specification, on time and in budget.Take ownership of project reporting, ensuring that the PM’s report accurately, through inhouse PM tools on the status of the project and project financesEnsure that changes to scope or budget are reported on and managed accordinglyEnsure that project / program risks are reported on and managed accordinglyDrive cost assurance and value engineering.

Ensure Health & Safety is planned effectively and implemented across all projects.

  • Manage existing performance management frameworks associated with vendors (consultants, contractors and suppliers)
  • Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk.
  • Ensure that Client Security requirements are adhered to across project delivery

Key Roles & Responsibilities internal to JLL

  • Manage, mentor and develop JLL staff members employed on the Account
  • Implement JLL’s Account Management Deliverables, including Mandatory Account Deliverables
  • Support regular Account Health checks
  • Own all commercial and contractual matters in connection with JLL’s services. Ensure all agreements and documentation necessary for invoicing is in place, assure the issue of invoices, drive cash collection and identify opportunities that improve JLL margin without comprising the service provided.
  • Monitor and review account profitability with Business Line heads periodically
  • Create awareness of JLL’s full range of services to the client as value creation opportunities
  • Develop and deliver value add services within the PMO
  • Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice
  • Demonstrate knowledge transfer from lessons learnt across projects and within the programme to improve service delivery.

Growth of Account

  • Meet assigned financial targets covering account sales and key pursuits. Services include Account Management, Project & Program Management and Design Services.
  • Own and participate with representatives from Client and JLL in the development of the annual business plan covering whole company objectives.
  • Create awareness of JLL’s full range of services to the client as value creating opportunities
  • Develop the relationship with JLL and Client Leadership Teams to promote JLL capability in the delivery of larger Capex projects
  • Monitor and review account profitability with Account Director periodically
  • Keep key Business Heads aware of business opportunities with the Client and exercise judgment which will have organizational wide impacts.
