The position of Research assistant consists in cooperating with the research process by doing experimental tasks, collecting and analyzing experimental data, preparing reports and presentations, and proofreading manuscripts.
A key element in this role is adhering to procedures and protocols provided by primary researchers. Success in this role is demonstrated by the successful and timely completion of all research and documents.
Among other activities, the job will include :
- Conduct research experiments.
- Analyse data and summarize results.
- Fact checks and proofreads manuscripts.
- Generate graphs and spreadsheets to portray results.
- Maintain research equipment in order.
- Prepares presentations for primary researchers.
Required
- Graduated in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science.
- Excellent technical and analytical skills.
- Good time-management skills.
- Good level of written and speaking in English.
- Knowledge on Polymer Science and Polymeric formulations, mainly in characterization and processing.
Desired
- Prior experience in research preferred.
- Critical sense and ability to propose alternatives to the problems that could arise during the projects.
- Ability to work and communicate in groups.
- Ability to work autonomously.
Conditions :
- Full-time (38,5 h / week)
- Incorporation 1st March 2024
