We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced hospitality Sales Manager to join our pre-opening team at the Hampton by Hilton Málaga.
You will develop and set pre-opening sales and marketing strategies for the hotel and ensure plans are implemented, results are monitored, and sales goals are achieved via ongoing promotion to both national and international markets.
Duties & Responsabilities Drive a great sales culture for hotel team to thrive connect departments to create sense of one team Hit all sales goals and maximize profitability Create and implement sales and marketing plans that drive budgeted results across all revenue channels and maximize on all possible additional spends to achieve sales targets and to expand the company s customer base Produce reports and enter data in line with required timeframes, sales forecasts to analyze current / potential market and sales trends, coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share and monitor performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established plans Develop and maintain relationships with key clients across all market segments and grow account value in accordance with budgeted figures Understand the gaps and opportunities within the hotel and proactively source ways to fill them Effectively manage time and resources, make client visits, arrange, and host FAM trips, client show rounds, tele sales and email campaigns and sales blitzes that will Identify new business, maximizing all sales lead opportunities to drive incremental and new revenue to the hotel Communicate to appropriate departments all important information, requirements, and special needs for arriving VIP s, large groups, and other key guests Attend trade shows and major market events locally and nationally to promote new business and increase sales and marketing opportunities for the hotel Work closely with key business leaders, officials, and representatives of local community groups within the city to ensure constant high-profile exposure for the hotel Identify improvements to marketing activities and overall hotel sales performance Work with the hotel and IHG team to ensure all content is up to date on all marketing channels, creating innovative and regular content / updates to ensure maximum exposure is achieved.
Coordinate PR activities and deliver high quality marketing campaigns, leading in planning, executing, and managing them across digital platforms and print channels Manage the everyday sales activities,
Requisitos : This position requires previous work experience in a hospitality role, preferably at Hilton or other international hotel brand Exhibits superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities Well informed about the local & international market, and therefore have the ability to secure business both from both national & international clients A drive for sales generation, networking, building reputations and identifying new opportunities within social and corporate markets Ability to build and maintain long lasting relationships with clients A proven track record of success within this or a similar position with an innovative approach and the ability to react to change Fluent in Spanish & English is a must
