SAP Finance and controlling (FI/CO) design expert

Senior Specialist for project delivery and/or operations in the given business sub-capability. Partner with Business Stakeholders and TT Strategic Business Partners for demand analysis, solution proposal/evaluation and project delivery.
Key responsibilities:
• Own and drive Solution Design in the area of Finance and Controlling through addressing all business requirements and opportunities while following Novartis architectural standards, quality, and information security principles
• Collaborate closely with the Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Enterprise Process Leads (EPLs) to suggest standardized and simplified integrated solutions
• Champion the standardization and simplification of design, minimizing the custom solutions only for cases where Novartis makes a difference in the market serving customers/patients
• Deliver design solutions in line with system design standards (Core/Template). Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the architecture handbook
• Perform scoping, fit-gap workshops for projects/enhancements, proposes solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimations and align with business teams
• Ensure that project/enhancements work is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality constraints following the release calendars. Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Solution Design scope
• Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed, formally documented and signed off by business •Initiate solution testing to ensure these meet quality standards
• Follow standardized design and development processes to enable cost effective delivery

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s degree in business/technical domains. SAP certifications / trainings in specified module(s)/process areas
• At least 8 years of relevant professional IT experience in the related functional area
• Proven experience in SAP ERP ECC and S/4HANA and eco-system applications in the following areas for the Pharma and/or Food & Beverage industry –Finance processes in R2R, O2C, R2P, Treasury –Finance and Controlling modules in S4/ECC (GL, AP, AR, Treasury, Tax, Fixed Assets, CO-PA, CO-PCA, ML, Project Systems, T&E)
• Very good knowledge of integration topics with Other SAP modules. Experience in project delivery in an international environment
• Excellent knowledge of business processes in the area of Finance and ability to “speak the business language” when talking about IT subjects, to be able to discuss and guide our business partners
