Job Description
As a Senior Application Architect, your mission will be to contribute to the transformation and continuous evolution of the platforms that supports the Business line.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts :
- Have wide experience of scalable distributed systems, microservices, data structures and event-driven architecture with kafka.
- Serve as a technical leader and work closely with development teams to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines, coding standards, and best practices.
- Take toward complete design of complex software applications or components applying agreed standards, patterns and tools.
- Encourage a culture of innovation within the teams, exploring and implementing new technologies that can bring strategic advantages to the organization.
- Lead initiatives to optimize the performance of software applications, conducting performance assessments and implementing improvements.
- Mentor and guide other developers and junior architects, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Create clear and comprehensive architectural documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, ensuring alignment with the business goals and customer needs.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in an architectural or senior design role.
- 3+ years of experience in event-driven architectures.
- Fluent in English and desirable in Spanish.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and driving results through collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture patterns and practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java).
- Deep understanding of functional, asynchronous / reactive programming.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
