What will make you successful in this position?
- Professional experience in AWS (Lambda, Fargate, ECS, S3, SNS, GLUE,ATHENA, RDS, IAM, CLOUDFORMATION).
- Version control (GIT, CI/CD).
- Python 3.
- Spark.
- Libraries Pandas and NumPy.
- Data Modelling

- Web/API integration
- English level from B1 onwards, Spanish mandatory.
What will be your mission?
As a Senior Data Engineer, your responsibilities includes to make requirement analysis, understanding the functional aspects of the clients’ requirement and efficient task execution like raise clarifications / issues / concerns regarding work output to the lead on time. You have to manage adherence to schedule / timelines, maintain effective working relationship (interpersonal) with team members and supervisors and adhere to organization policies and procedures. Participation in calls/status reporting and daily standup calls for the project.
- Lead the design, development and implementation of Data Engineering projects on the AWS platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, data scientists and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines, data lakes and data warehouses using AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS EMR, AWS S3, AWS Redshift and AWS Athena, CloudFormation.
- Implement data integration and transformation processes to extract, cleanse and load data from multiple sources into the AWS environment.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and monitoring processes.
- Optimize data storage and processing for optimal performance and cost effectiveness, leveraging AWS services and technologies.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for Data Engineering projects, automate infrastructure provisioning, and ensure efficient deployment and monitoring of data solutions.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Data Engineers, fostering their professional growth and promoting best practices.
