Senior Consultant SAP Analytics
Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group.
Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
As a Lead Consultant SAP Analytics, you are not just a part of the team; you are at the very heart of our analytics journey.
Here, you'll utilize the potential of the latest SAP technologies to build, run, and optimize best-practice solutions.
In your role you will be taking the lead in development tasks and architecture decisions and work on projects with internal team members, external consultants and our business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering advanced SAP end-to-end data warehouse solutions, managing both internal and external resources
- Be a lead consultant / architect in data warehousing projects using SAP DataSphere, BW4HANA, S / 4 Embedded Analytics (CDS Views)
- Apply data science approaches and advanced analytics scenarios using coding languages like Python and SQL
- Establish and advice on best practices for connecting and reporting with different frontend tools (SAC, Analysis for Office, PowerBI) based on data from SAP Platforms
- Work closely with business, translating frontend requirements into backend development and define and deliver projects
- Work with business stakeholder to develop a roadmap and manage demand
- Establish standards both on the technical data warehousing but also on the interface to the frontend / users
- Drive user adoption of the analytics solutions within Hydro
Desired competencies
- Bachelor or master's degree in IT, business or similar fields. Candidates without a relevant degree but with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply
- Minimum 6 years of relevant SAP experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Data Warehousing, Data Modeling and ETL in an SAP environment
- Experience with SQL and Python
- Experience in ABAP development
- Great communication skills, taking initiative and responsibility when working with international teams
- Work independently and structured
- Be a trusted team member both within the SAP team and towards our internal customers
- Keen on keeping up with SAP technology, translating new trends into tangible business value
- Proficiency in English is a must
