Job Title

Senior Marketing Events Specialist

Summary of the role

As the Senior Marketing Events Specialist, you’ll be responsible for implementing the Hospitality Marketing event strategy including contracting, logistics coordination, promotion planning, and performance tracking for Hospitality events, conferences, webinars, and marketing programs.

This role supports sales opportunity pipeline creation to enable revenue generation by delivering professional, market leading experiences for attendees in alignment with our brand positioning and messaging while managing expectations around event execution within a highly demanded budget allocation.

In this role, you’ll

  • Execute annual Marketing Events program strategy in alignment with target growth and retention segments and organization revenue goals

  • Identify and assess events for participation and project planning timelines

  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to meet event expectations and goals

  • Manage, produce, and host large-scale Marketing webinars and Sales demo series

  • Facilitate all aspects of in-person and virtual meeting planning execution from stakeholder engagement, event registration, marketing/promotion, on-site staffing, and post-event reporting

  • Manage end-to-end operational logistics including contracts, budget, manpower, travel, agenda, production, staging, registration process, and email content

  • Maintain inventory of branded items and coordinate shipment to 100+ customer events

About the ideal candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; CMP Certification

  • At least 3 years of experience managing large scale and small-scale events

  • Previous experience executing event strategy in line with commercial objectives for organization, as well as collaborating with External Communications team to manage overall industry presence and Share of Voice

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM (User); cvent; WordPress; iCapture/lead capture tools; Hubspot

  • Proficient in English (both verbal and written); fluent in Spanish

  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
