Work location:La Almunia de Doña Godina (Zaragoza).

The Process Technologist provides support for the development of processing parameters production equipment and production methods to deliver the required Quality standards for all manufacturing processes. He/she will be responsible to guarantee the proper application of the procedures using specifications, standards, methods and instruments to measure and monitor the development of the process in the product in collaboration with Quality, Production and Engeneering departments.
The Process Technologists regularly evaluate production, demonstrating that the process is an improvement on the previous one and identifying any new steps, methods or technology needed to make sure the process keeps improving; this is achieved within the framework of regulatory compliance and operating within established high standards of Quality, GMP, Health, Safety and Environmental Protection supported by a Process Oriented Organization.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage the relationships with suppliers and the different department as Engineering, TRD, QC and other technical personnel for activities related to process optimization and improvement.
• Schedule the problem solving sessions with the support functions for production related to issues or inquiries.
• Follow the implementation of new production processes, equipment, methods keeping track of production results.
• Collaborate with Engineering department for the installation of new equipment.
• Take care of the optimization of processes within the established ranges towards continuous improvement.
• Propose improvements to the process and the plants, to improve performance (yields, cycle times, costs, etc.).
• Collaborate in the identification of plant interventions for process improvement.
• Resolve, when required, in team with the other functions, the problems related to the robustness of the processes ensuring the identification of corrective measures to be adopted.
• Follow the technical tests in collaboration with MS&T verifying the status of the activities and the result/compliance with the requirements.
• Take care of the implementation of new processes for the part related to production.
• Provide training of the production supervisor and production personnel in case of implementation of new processes or changes to the process.

• Scientific Degree
• At least 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Excellent organizational (time management, risk management) and communication skills
• Fluent Spanish and English, written and spoken
