Overview

Our Global Black Belt (GBB) organization, which is a team of highly specialized and technical professionals within our Microsoft Customer & Partner Solutions organization (MCAPS) who work with customers to enable some of the most complex and innovative solutions, providing differentiated technical leadership and guidance along the way.

The Analytics team within the GBB organization consists of Specialist and Technology experts, who focus on specific domains, industries, and workloads, such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse and Azure Databricks.

The Global Black Belt (GBB) Time Zone Analytics Leader is a Senior Leader within our EMEA Data & AI commercial solution area organization.

The role leads, develops and manages a team of Global Black Belts (Specialists and Technical) for the entire Time Zone. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end Analytics business for their Time Zone, with accountability for shaping the market for their region.

This role will require travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

Requirements :

  • 10+ years technology-related sales, account management, or equivalent experienceOR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science, or related field AND 8 + years technology-related sales, account managementOR equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of people management experience, including managing high performance sales and technical-specialist teams, coaching solution specialist and account development strategies, and / or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations

Desired Skills :

Experience with Cloud Analytics and AI Technologies.

Leading multi-million-dollar deals requiring orchestration of large, dispersed, virtual teams.

  • Demonstrated passion and commitment for customer success.
  • Strong presentation, white boarding, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated people leader able to coach and inspire a diverse team of Solution Sales and Technical Sales Professionals.
  • Creative thinker who can see the big picture and unite new and disparate ideas with practical plans, working comfortably in the face of ambiguity and in a matrixed enterprise organization.
  • Can clearly prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects in parallel and effectively achieve results through an indirect group of internal Microsoft stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a loosely structured team environment that demands a high degree of cooperation, flexibility, teaming, cross group, and real-time responsiveness.
  • Possess excellent listening skills and proficient oral and written communications.
  • Fluent English language abilities and excellent presentation skills required with other regional language speaking skills preferred.

Increase customer value by coaching technology specialists through the process of identifying and qualifying Azure Analytics workload opportunities.

Drive adoption of Microsoft Analytics and AI strategies, resources, and best practices to develop and drive these engagements leading to customer value.

Collaborate, Coach and Course Correct the sales execution model for the region, inspiring the area and team to achieve success as aligned to the GTM motion.

Disciplined in business management; adaptable to a culture of accountability; build a strong and active business network.

  • Recruits, develops and coaches high-performing team by hiring diverse talent, prioritizing development, and preparing people for more senior positions in other parts of the organization and delivers success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching and caring.
  • Brings impactful market insights into customer engagements and helps close deals with customers and coaches and influences direct reports and others internally on how to do this.
  • Engages in conversation with customers and collaborates with account and partner teams to drive and qualify new opportunities, understand key technical objections, and resolve technical blockers.
  • Participates in regular strategic planning for their assigned Time Zone / geography and review plans via Rhythm of Business (ROB) meetings and aligns the plans of their team across departments.
