Le site de Toulouse regroupe deux activités principal es : l'une en charge de développer et commercialiser des solutions et équipements pour avions et hélicoptères (cockpits, solutions pour cabines, systèmes de missions civiles et militaires, et offres de services associées) ; l'autre , le centre d'Air Traffic Management (ATM), pôle d'expertise historique des systèmes de gestion du trafic aérien.
Thales Australia's Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) business, part of the Global Business Unit Land and Air Systems, is providing leading edge Air Traffic Management (ATM), Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM), Security and Digital Aviation solutions for the Commercial and Defence sectors.
A key program in the AMS business is OneSKY, which is the most complex transformation of air traffic management in Australian aviation history. Through common operational and technical requirements, it will improve safety, security, interoperability and sustainment. It will also improve efficiency, capacity and support harmonised ATM processes and procedures for collaborative flow management and dynamic flexible use of airspace.
WHAT WE CAN DO TOGETHER :
The role of Senior Solution Architect is a key role for the OneSKY project and as part of the System of Systems Solution Architecture team, help to define and deliver a state-of-the-art Air Traffic Solution.
This is a front facing role and requires direct engagement with our Customer and key internal senior stakeholders.
This position is based at Melbourne World Trade Centre and CSVF test facility at Melbourne Airport.
The role is responsible for defining, stabilising and maintaining the Solution Architecture for bids and projects for all lifecycle phases, it includes:

• - Defining and proposing innovative technical solutions that meet customer requirements and are compliant with the business' product/system technical strategy
• - Analysing the architectural and technical choices to ensure the best trade-off between customer requirements, technical solutions, cost and risk.
• - Lead working groups conducting technical arbitration between Subsystems, Infrastructure, Platform and Security teams and the constraints they place on the system design.
• - Key contact with the customer on technical issues including evolutions to the solution baseline.
• - Responsible for stabilising and maintaining the Solution Architecture throughout its lifecycle in cooperation with the SEMs and PDA.
• - Ensure the Solution Architecture is optimised to address the real need
• Develop Architectural Viewpoints
• - Specify Technical Performance Measurements (TPMs) and support their validation throughout the lifecycle of the project
• - Document architecture in required artefacts (E.g. Product Breakdown Structure and System of System Design Documentation).
• - Support the Project Design Authority (PDA) and the Systems Engineering Manager (SEM) in the approval of the main engineering reviews and deliverables.
• - Review key Subsystems including Infrastructure, Platform and Security artefacts ensuring that the constraints imposed by the system requirements on the design are understood and met.
• - Ensure and demonstrate that the defined architecture meets the requirements

WHO ARE YOU :
As Senior Solution Architect, you have been able to achieve a solid expertise in regards of the skills & knowledge described below:

• - Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and architectural frameworks (e.g. Arcadia and NAF)
• - Demonstrated experience in the design of infrastructure and network architectures
• - Demonstrated experience in the design of secure Solution Architectures inline with security standards and policies eg. ISM
• - Experience with collective decisions and conflict resolutions
• - Capability to manage various stakeholders having different objectives
• - Proven capability to work in a multi-cultural environment and with variety of international customers.
• - Aptitude to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary integrated team environment
• - A positive attitude combined with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills.
• - Sound judgement and independent decision-making capability where necessary
• - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
