At G+D Mobile Security , the world leader in secure telecommunications systems via SIM / eSIM, we are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to strategize standardization and industry body activities for our Telecommunications solutions.
As Senior Manager Standardization, you will own and drive the standardization activities with a focus on our Telecommunication solutions in close alignment with our portfolio management and company strategy.
In addition, you will represent Mobile Security in selected standardization bodies and actively contribute to corresponding working groups.
Your Tasks
- Translate the G+D Mobile Security (MS) business vision into a standardization strategy, identifying the most relevant standardization and regulatory bodies to participate, contribute to, and to be considered for building our portfolio
- Represent MS for selected products and technologies in relevant industry associations and Standard Developing Organizations (SDOs) with a focus on Telecommunication and Security
- Determine the impact of regulation and standardization topics and trends on the G+D MS product portfolio, align and execute necessary activities in close collaboration with the internal stakeholders (in particular product management)
- Support the creation of IP and the adoption of G+D MS IP in relevant standards and specifications.
Your Profile
- University or master’s degree in Engineering or comparable, with strong technical and innovation background
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product management, or a related position in engineering, in the telecommunications industry.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in participating and contributing to standardization or industry organizations; deep understanding of specification development and maintenance processes
- Ideally experienced in IP creation, patent filing and related processes.
- Proven negotiation skills in an international and multi-cultural environment, ability to develop and implement compromises
- Excellent capabilities to present and communicate internationally on all levels
- Ability and readiness to travel worldwide
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken. German is a plus
