Overview

Now hiring an Shopper activation lead (OT & TT) to join our Pepsico Snacks Marketing team, working across our leading brand portfolio Doritos, Walkers, Wotsits and Sensations.

This is a 9 month contract with our office based in Sandyford, Dublin 18. Flexible working offered (ideally 2 days per week in the office)

This role requires a self-starter focused on delivering against the strategic business agenda for which shopper is to the core. Reporting to the Head of Snacks Brand and Shopper Marketing this individual will be the face and voice of shopper (Organised trade and Traditional Trade), ensuring shopper is top of mind and embedded in all key business plans and activations with specific KPI’s set against both.

This omni channel role includes identifying and landing key shopper and customer opportunities, both in store and online to ensure that our snack brands are unmissable and best in class.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the channel activation calendar end to end, delivering OTIF sell in (with insights), execution & evaluation for the OT & TT channels
  • Develop exciting and disruptive activation solutions for our customers, leveraging the relevant U.K/Brand platforms/assets and where appropriate create local solutions to elevate our offer and deliver best in class omni channel shopper execution across the entire shopper journey
  • Develop & execute our T.R.D.U. and stacker plan inc. new innovative direct route to market solutions
  • Lead our ecomm strategy with customers and implement a full year omni channel ecomm plan
  • Be the go to expert on shopper marketing & category for our commercial and field team supporting with Selling tools with insights to support them with selling and delivery of our plans
  • Work with our Field sales team to bring new dynamic digital and equipment solutions that will maximise our presence and drive stand out in-store
  • Work closely with the Head of Brand and Shopper Marketing to deliver a fully integrated brand, shopper, innovation and ecomm annual plan
  • Manage our agencies. Day to day management with relevant agencies (shopper, ecomm and printer to ensure all campaigns are delivered on time and within budget
  • Budget responsibility & PO management – delivering campaigns within budget and ensuring fast and prompt payment of suppliers
Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • FMCG experience with shopper and or brand with 3 years + experience in a shopper activation role
  • Act As An Owner: Self-starter inc. strong project management experience & who has managed customer marketing relationships with key retailers.
  • Portfolio FMCG activation development and execution experience; you have delivered outstanding results in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Strong commercial acumen: pro-efficient in digesting internal and external data inc. key market sources e.g. Nielsen, Talysis and can convert this data seamlessly to key insights and selling facts
  • Focus and get things done fast: Can do attitude who can apply step change thinking and ethos with a doer mindset
  • Celebrate Success: You love great teamwork and celebrating the team’s successes, big and small!
  • You are comfortable working in a matrix organisation and have the skills needed to build your network and influence others
  • Finally, career orientated and considered a future leader within the business
